Old City Cemetery Committee, Inc. - Victorian Tea Photos

Victorian Tea Photos
Her Imperial Majesty Queen Victoria made a royal entrance at a Tea held in Her honor, May 7, 2005.  Over 100 guests attended the Tea, nearly a third in period costumes.  Old City Cemetery Committee, Inc. volunteers organized and staffed the event with the assistance of the City of Sacramento.

The Queen, and guests, enjoyed the music of Madeline Biddle and Danielle Camardo with tea and a variety of sandwiches, scones, breads and desserts.  Her Imperial Majesty greeted Her guests, followed by brief presentations on Cemetery Restoration, History and current activities by Barbara Oliva, Suzanne Sanchez and Judy Eitzen.  After the Tea, guest were invited to meet Queen Victoria and tour the Rose Garden, Hamilton Square and Archives.

Proceeds from the Tea will benefit the Georgia Fisher monument restoration project.
